Design

Well, I've finally decided to take the leap and start my own blog.  The focus is going to be on interior design mostly, but I know my original love of art will sneak it's way in here and there.  I'm often inspired by paintings, drawings and photographs while designing a room.  I've always kept notebooks of inspiration pictures, collages, compilations if you will, of images that inspire.  As an artist in my teen years, my notebooks were filled with sketches, magazine cut outs, albums inserts, etc.  Developing my love of interior design, I began keeping lots of sketches and cut outs of furniture pieces, fabrics, color scheme ideas and even whole rooms.  This is my official transfer of these items to a blog, but starting anew.  My style has grown and changed a lot over the years, thankfully, and I think this will be an interesting log to show how much it will continue to grow and change.  Hopefully it'll be inspiring to more than just me, but either way, I'm excited to share a lot of great inspirational art!
